First cut on what I imagine a Federationer to look like.
Known improvements to be made:
* Need to accentuate the 'hourglass' effect to emphasize the violin appearance.
* Sternum needs to be built up with a keel for the wings (the pectoral muscles are probably layered over the tentacle muscles for leverage and increased length of retraction.
Probable improvements to be made:
* Revert to 'normal' bat wings since they would evolve from arms/legs and the lower legs already indicate degrees of parallel evolution to Terrestrial standards
* Modify 'tabs' on legs for more surface area.
